The Karseell BNC Brazilian Keratin Treatment is a professional-grade smoothing and straightening cream formulated for salon use. Pure hydrolyzed keratin, cold-pressed argan oil and a gentle protein complex penetrate the cuticle to tame frizz, relax curls and seal split ends, leaving hair soft, manageable and mirror-shiny for 3-5 months after a single in-salon application. How to use (in-salon)

1. Wash hair with a clarifying shampoo (not a conditioning shampoo) and towel-dry until 80% dry.
2. Section hair into 4 quadrants. Apply Karseell BNC cream thinly and evenly from 1 cm below the root to ends, using a tint brush.
3. Leave the treatment on for 20-40 minutes depending on hair type, porosity and curl level. For very coarse or resistant hair, cover with a plastic cap and place under a moderate-heat dryer for 15 minutes.
4. Rinse with warm water only (no shampoo) until the water runs clear.
5. Blow-dry hair 100% straight, then flat-iron in 1-2 cm sections at 200-230 °C, 5-7 passes per section, to seal the keratin into the cuticle.
6. Do not wash, tie up or pin hair for 48-72 hours. After 72 hours the result is locked in for 3-5 months.

Aftercare and maintenance

For maximum durability of the BNC treatment we recommend sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner (Karseell Collagen or Karseell Argan Oil ranges), a microfibre towel, weekly Karseell hair mask and minimal heat styling. Chlorine, salt water and harsh sulfates will shorten the duration of the treatment.

Is Karseell BNC Brazilian Keratin Treatment safe?

Yes. Karseell BNC is formaldehyde-free and formaldehyde-releaser-free. It contains no methylene glycol, no glyoxal and no other harsh aldehyde-releasers. The formula is EU, US FDA and Australian compliant, manufactured under ISO 22716 cosmetics GMP and GMPC.

How long does the smoothing effect last?

3-5 months on average, depending on hair type, porosity, aftercare routine and how often the hair is washed. Fine, low-porosity hair can keep the effect for 4-5 months; coarse, high-porosity hair typically sees 3-4 months.

Can I use Karseell BNC on colour-treated or bleached hair?

Yes. When applied by a trained stylist, Karseell BNC is safe for colour-treated, bleached, highlighted and previously chemically processed hair. In our in-house trial 89% of colour-treated clients saw no lift or tone shift. We recommend waiting 2 weeks after a colour service before applying BNC.
