Our stance on AI crawlers

Our /robots.txt uses the standard WordPress policy which does not specifically allow or disallow any AI crawler. The default behavior for any User-agent not explicitly listed is to follow the wildcard User-agent: * rule, which permits crawling of the public site with only a few backend paths excluded.

This means: all major AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, CCBot, etc.) are implicitly permitted to crawl chinchygroup.com for indexing, retrieval, and training under fair use.

Permitted uses

  • Search and citation: Indexing, retrieval, summarization, and quotation in AI-powered search engines and assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, etc.) are explicitly permitted and encouraged.
